In 2019 I wrote a column The Shards about years of sexual, physical and emotional abuse from my father. And several months later we — people who survived the same — started to play in a performance about all that.
Elektra Complex is a play directed by Leda Garina, created in cooperation with the Foundation You Will Be Believed. People — not professional actors, but survivors of sexualised abuse in childhood — played in it their own stories. Some of us told their stories to the world in the very first time.
I wrote several scenes for this play, performed in it and gave interviews about the problem of child abuse.
