Red And Free performance
coming soon

A photo-performative project Red And Free invites people to step outside the classic presence in front of the camera and try on a bodily freedom that’s released from recognition and yet very personalised.
Shooting at several open locations in Folkestone and by the sea, I suggest covering upside down with a red cloak, removing the recognisability of body, face and clothing, and listen to your body — how do you want to exist these minutes, being a red dot in that space?
The project aims to explore free movement and connect with the environment, a visual anonymity that paradoxically allows one to express themrself more fully, being freed from the obligation to look a certain way, and to manifest the childlike, magical, joyful, wildlife part of oneself.
